Youth Play: Passageways of Suburbia
Sponsored by Bangladesh Society for Puja and Culture young boys and girls staged a play "Passageways of Suburbia" at the Polish Club, Ashfield on 3-May-2008. The play is about the issues and conflicts of growing up with two different cultures. Play back sound track was used for the dialogue. That's a big no no for stage play. Press Release: Parramatta Mosque Project
The fund raising dinner for Parramtta Mosque Project held on 27-Apr-2008 was a great success. It was attended by many people including representatives of Prime Minister of Australia and Premier of NSW. Including commitments and interest free loans a total of $245,000 was raised on the night.
