Currently, a three member high powered Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) delegation is visiting Australia.
The Bangladesh Association of NSW Inc in co-operation with the Bangladesh High Commission has organised an information session at 10AM on 26-Nov-2005 at the Baulkham Hills, Holroyd and Parramatta Migrant Resource Centre on ‘investment in Bangladesh Export Processing Zones.
The delegation is headed by the Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), Brig General Md Zakir Hossain PSC G (Retd). Other members of the delegation are: Mr M. H. Farhad Khan, Director General, Prime Minister’s Office, and Mr A.K.M. Mahbubur Rahman, Chief Accounts Officer, BEPZA. The delegation has kindly accepted our invitation to provide valuable information and exchange views with the participants regarding the opportunities of investment in Export Processing Zones in Bangladesh.
This meeting hurriedly organised by the Bangladesh Association of NSW Inc, is expected to facilitate dissemination of information and exchange of views regarding opportunities of investment in Bangladesh. The meeting will help in building a bridge between Australian business community and the government of Bangladesh.
