Prof Nazrul Islam is a professor of Economics at the Kyuscho National University Japan.
He is the head of the Quantitative Analysis Section, International Center for the Study of East Asian Development (ICSEAD).
In 1998 he founded Bangladesh Environment Network (BEN). BEN is a web-based environmental organisation engaged in pursuing and creating public awareness and working for solving environmental problems.
