I am very sad to inform our friends that our dear friend S. M. Forhad Chowdhury (Razib) of King St, Kograh died in a car accident in Chittagong.
Forhad Chowdhury came to Australia as a student in 2004 and completed his masters in computer science from UTS in 2005. He went to Bangladesh in December to see his family and friends.
The tragic accident happned on Saturday (13-Jan-2007). Forhad was on his way to Cox's Bazzar with two other friends. Near Chokoria around 7:30 pm their car hit a speed breaker and the driver lost control. The car was then hit by an on coming mini bus. Forhad and one of the friends died on the spot. Other friend who was driving the car survived the crash.
Forhad passed SSC from Chittagong Collegiate School in 1995. HSC in 1997 from Ispahani School and College and he got his Electrical Engineering Degree from IIT, Gazipur in 2002.
We pray for the departed souls and wish his family get the strength to cope with this tragic loss.
