Recently Shamsuz-zaman Shamim (middle) has been awarded runner up prize in NSW Green Globe award.
Shamsuz-zaman Shamim is working as an environmental management officer in Randwick city council. This is considered a prestigious award for the Council.
Shamim did his bachelors in forestry from Chittagong University and came to Australia in 1999. He completed his master's from UNSW in Environment Science and joined the Randwick city council as an environmental management officer. Shamim lives in Lakemba, Sydney, with his wife.
